Event descriptionKarrak Karnival, the 2014 Australian foot-Orienteering Championships carnival, will be held in Western Australia in the middle of WA’s famous wildflower season. The carnival will comprise nine events over the nine days. The four national championship events will be part of the Australian National League competition and the three individual championships are expected to receive World Ranking Event status. Two open-entry events will follow the mid-week School Championships on the same days, so there will be two rest days. Extend your stay for an extra week because the SWOT Club is planning 'Sprint the South West', a series of 4 sprint events in two days (7/8 October) in the beautiful South-West of WA, and on Friday and Saturday 10/11 October three WA MTBO Championships/NOL events will be held near WA's surf and wine capital Margaret River.
Terrain descriptionThe map is on typical Western Australian Wandoo and Jarrah bushland with granite boulders and outcrops.
