| Event description | Dear sport friends, I am glad to greet you with the spanish cordiality and frienship to all participants in this International Orienteering Trophy City of Utiel and V Premi d'Orientació Comunitat Valenciana 2011, with the hope about this experience will enable to enjoy the event and discover the natural landscapes of this region. | Terrain description | The land is located in the Sierra del Negrete, zone guideline mountainous Iberian characterized by steep topography and covered by major forest formations between dominating an excellent representation of large continental Kermes. The competition site is located between 950 and 1150 meters altitude It consists of two indented areas to two different races: Long Run Sunday: ˇ mild to moderate drop ˇ young Aleppo pine easy penetrability ˇ Land covered by Kermes and esparto ˇ rocky outcrops and open areas. Average career Sunday: ˇ high to moderate drop ˇ Aleppo pine forest with some areas covered with low vegetation that slow speed. ˇ Rocky outcropyou It is advisable to protect your legs with leggings. MAPS: Made by Leonids Malankovs in March 2010 and September 2010 Long career: Map "The Remedy" Carrera Media: Map "Casas de Medina" The "Event model" is developed on the same map of the competition. There will be maps of "warming" available on receipt of each test day for intermediate and long distance. |
