Event description | WOC2010 official event. Relevant terrains for WOC 2010. Three day race event with sprint on friday, midle distance on saturday and long chasing start on sunday based on results on friday and saturday. GPS tracking in senior elite classes. Big screen and live TV-production on saturday and sunday. All events may be reached by city transport busses. |

Holiday activities,nature,hiking etc. | Trondheim is a medival city with lot of sights. Among others: "Nidaros Domen" is a cathedral built in romanesque and gothic style. The work started in 1100 and was completed sometime during the 1300s. "Munkholmen" (Norwegian, meaning the monk's islet) is an islet north of Trondheim, Norway in the Trondheimsfjord. The islet has served as a place of execution, a monastery, a fortress, prison, and a World War II anti-aircraft gun station. Today, Munkholmen is a popular tourist attraction and recreation site. |
