Event descriptionRogaining is an endurance navigation sport which started in Australia and is now competed in over 25 countries. Teams of two to five choose their own route around controls to maximise their point score within the 24 hour time limit. The course will be set by national rogaining champions, David Baldwin and Julie Quinn, and will provide excellent navigational challenges in a beautiful environment. The event provides an ideal opportunity to visit the birthplace of rogaining and holiday in Australia’s cities and unique natural places.
Terrain descriptionThe event will be held in magnificent subalpine country in one of Australia’s iconic areas, Kosciuszko National Park, over 27-28 March 2009. The broader region offers some of Australia’s most beautiful scenery.
