| Event description | Croatia open is traditionaly held in region of Gorski kotar by orienteering club Ris from Delnice. For the first time in Croatia we will organize 5 day´s orienteering event providing you oportunity to combine active holiday with orienteering on one of nicest terrains in Croatia. See you in Croatia in July 2010! |
| Terrain description | Terrains which will be used for Croatia open 2010 will be diverse; from typical karst with many depressions and rocky areas on first day, urban and park area near sea on second stage, highland karst on third stage to mixed continental and karst on fourth and almost alpine terrain on last stage. |
| Training possibilities | We can provide several maps in close vicinity to sea or in Croatian highland. Most of drawn terrains are karst with many depressions, typical for this Croatian region. For more information please contact us on e-mail. |
| Holiday activities,nature,hiking etc. | It is possible to take many holiday activities in Croatia open 2010 like sea diving, swimming, water skiing, hiking, canoeing, sun bathing etc. 4 of 5 stages of competition will be organized in area of national park "Risnjak", well known for his highest peak called Great Risnjak (1528 m above sea level) and we recomand to all nature lovers to visit it. On the other hand, Opatija (where sprint distance will be organized) is leader in Croatian tourism. You will find many surprises there (like Croatian celebrity street...) in real Mediteranian atmosphere. |
