| Event description | The third international competition “Croatia Open” will be in terms: 04.-08.07.2008. in Delnice. The competition will be on the map: Crni Lug 1:10 000 witch will be repaired for this occasion next spring. Competitional program has gonna been made from three races, first day are middle distance, a second day are long distance, and the final day is longer- shorted distances. Therein which is on the map of Crni Lug was used in 1999. year for organization the World military championship which was in Croatia (Zagreb, SVI 99). |

| Holiday activities,nature,hiking etc. | Dear orienteering friends These days we completed correction of the map „Crni Lug“ on which we are planning to organized incoming competition „Croatia Open 2008“. Tihomir Salopek has managed to prepare technical demanding and interesting courses on karst terrain which is placed in center of national park „Risnjak“. We think that it is the right time to inform You about news for competition. From today on our internet pages you can find and download application form for competition. You are kindly invited that your entries are sent strictly on this form in „EXCEL“ on e-mail: ivica.urbanc@ri.t-com.hr When you look application form you will notice that this year we have prepared additional discount for clubs. Every club according to the number of competitors will get discount for all sum of bill in height of 10%, 15% and 20%. More about that you will found out during the writing of application form. After four years of waiting „Croatia Open“ got the race for World ranking event (WRE). Organizer of competition decided that all competitors which are ranked in men and women category has the free entry for all three days of competitions. All ranked competitors which want to use these possibility are kindly invited to send separate entry on form, and write their identification number (WRE ID). On the end of this information block we would like to get Your attention that start of July in Croatia provides the opportunity of vacation and swimming on Adriatic coast. The map „Crni Lug“ is located about 30 minutes of driving from our beautiful destinations for vacation in Opatija, Crikvenica, Island of Krk, Novi Vinodolski...
