| Event description | Kainuu Orienteering week 2008 will be placed at Ukkohalla holiday and skiing resort where you can find competition centre and many accomodation alternatives. Everything you need is near, there are nice hiking tracks, small lakes for fishing, Sauna world, indoor sports hall and restaurant. Kainuu Orienteering week has been organized since 1966 and it has it`s own remarkable place in Finnish orienteering history. There are about 4000 orienteers yearly at Kainuu Orienteering week and it has always been very popular among families with children. Orienteering week in Kainuu is not only for competing orienteers. There are also many categories for beginners, families and children. WELCOME TO UKKOHALLA! |
