Event descriptionTre-Kvallars is the original "Three-Evenings" event, started nearly 30 years ago. A Long - Middle - Long Forest Orienteering 3 days with FREE start times in the evening - eg 1730 - 1930. Start when convenient. This enables you to do tourist stuff (or even work!) during the day and Orienteer in the evening. Same arena all 3 days. Somewhere on the Nackareserve map, which is now fully redrawn using LIDAR. Family friendly. Flexible organisers who want you to enjoy your holiday/Orienteering! Entries via Swedish Eventor system. Info and entries on the event often comes out late but do not worry, the event always happens!
Terrain descriptionGenerally good runnability and visibility, although some areas of green and brashings. Moderately hilly in places with short sharp climbs and descents. Classic Stockholm terrain. A good network of paths for the easier courses.
Training possibilitiesGet in touch with your requirments - lots available. We also recommend you make it a 6 day O trip by combining 3-Kvallars with the Eskiltuna 3 days which starts Friday pm (to Sunday) and is less than 2 hours from Stockholm.
Holiday activities, nature, hiking etc.Loads - just Google 'Things to do in Stockholm'. The Vasa Boat museum is always good. Skansen Open Air Museum & Zoo is also good, Gronalund for theme park amusements, ABBA museum if you are into them (but it isnt cheap), boat trips into the archepelago, Royal Castle and all the museums associated with that, National Museum (free) as are many others like Medieval museum. You wont get bored. Something for everyone.
