Event descriptionThe Australian 3 Day Championship and Good Friday Prologue is a traditional event in the Australian Orienteering Calendar. A Sprint Relay will be held on Good Friday in Perth. Over the following three days there will be a Sprint, Long Distance and Middle Distance Event with the winners decided by the cumulative time across the three races. The following week on Friday 26th & 27th April two further WRE events will be hosted with the Australian Sprint Championship and Australian Middle Distance Championships (see separate World of Calendar listing)
Terrain descriptionThe Prologue will be held in the Perth Metro area and in parkland and buildings Day 1 of the three day is at a large high school with complex buildings and passages Day 2 & Day 3 will be held on semi-cleared farmland with abundant rock detail and complex contours. Fast running is assured across the maps.
Holiday activities,nature,hiking etc.Western Australia has many tourism opportunities, with beaches, wild coastline, cultural and sporting activities also within easy reach of the city and across the South West of the State there are many wine and food business offering unique experiences.
