Terrain descriptionTypical Central-European moderately hilly terrain located 300-500 metres above see level. Oak forest with good runability and visibility, lots of vegetation features like rootstocks, clearings and small thick undergrowth. Locally steep slopes with cliffs and rock boulders require demanding orienteering technique. Newly mapped parts and a technically demanding area for the middle distance race.

Holiday activities,nature,hiking etc.Budapest, capital of Hungary is less than 1 hour drive from the Event Centre. Gerecse mountain offers several spectacular hiking trails. Tata is a nearby picturesque town with a lake-side castle.
