Holiday activities, nature, hiking etc.Zermatt is a paradise for mountain walking and offers many other possibilities for active holidays. Zermatt is an inexhaustible walking area. Over 400km of marked walking and hiking trails lead through fields of alpine and high alpine flowers, through scented forests, to still alpine lakes and into the world of glaciers. Numerous alpine huts and mountain restaurants offer inviting resting places. The cable cars make it easy to reach the higher areas. Holidays in Zermatt also mean mountain biking, glacier walking, gorge adventures, forest fun park, the spectacular Gorner Gorge, the Zermatt-Randa golf course, paragliding, downhill rides with kick bikes and dirt scooters, guided tours for observing wildlife, tennis, squash, minigolf, open-air and indoor swimming pools and lots more.
