| Event description | British Elite and Age Class Sprint Championship. The race is also an IOF World Ranking Event for the M/W21E classes. |
| Terrain description | The competition will use the York University campus providing a complex mix of buildings and open grassed areas, together with Walmgate Stray, an area of open land used for cattle grazing, parts of Heslington village and suburban settlements on the edge of York. The combination of different types of terrain promises an exciting mix particularly suited to sprint orienteering |
