Event description | Friendly Irish 3 day festival, based in the sheeps head peninsula, a little visited but very scenic area of southwestern ireland, close to bantry bay. |
Terrain description | The terrain is classic West Cork open mountainside with complex contours and fast running. |

Holiday activities,nature,hiking etc. | Based beside the coast, there are plenty of hills nearby for hiking. There are sailing schools in Baltimore and Bere island which offer sailing courses. Island hopping near Skibbereen, Ireland's southern most point mizen head, Bantry House, Garnish island near day 3 are amongst the many other visitor attractions. West cork is also famous for it's food, fresh fish, local cheeses etc, so you can treat yourself after an energetic day outdoors. Durrus near Kilcrohane in particular has some very good restuarants. |
