Event descriptionWRE. Two days individual event. First day will be middle distance race and second day will be long distance race & WRE. Sport Ident punching system will be used. Holiday activities,nature,hiking etc.The National park Plitvice lakes is not only the largest, oldest and most beautiful park in Croatia, but it is also one of the largest and oldest European National parks. The Plitvice Lakes is natural monument which can also be found on the UNESCO's list of international heritage. The beauty of this area conquers by its natural diversity, magnificent ambient, clean air, crystal clear water, waterfalls, caves and forests. The Plitvice lakes has 16 bigger and a few smaller lakes separated by travertine barriers, the basic phenomenon of the National park. Around the lakes there is virgin forest which is home to large number of vegetation and wildlife species. National park Plitvice lakes is well-known tourist destination and a great place to take excursions. You can climb one of the peaks around the lakes from where you will have a wonderful view of the lakes and entire area. Or you can enjoy rafting on the Una, one of the most beautiful and clearest rivers in Europe. You can go fishing stream trout on the Gacka river.
