Event description
For the fourteenth consecutive year, Grupo Desportivo Quatro Caminhos, is organizing the Norte Alentejano O’Meeting (NAOM). The event takes place in two different counties, Portalegre and Castelo de Vide.
Norte Alentejano “O” Meeting is a foot orienteering event, integrated in IOF’s World Ranking (IOF WRE) and in the Portuguese Orienteering Federation’s Cup, open to people of any age, that may participate in the competition or open classes, individually, or in group.
At the same time there is a training camp with permanent controls that can be used until April.
The Norte Alentejano “O” Meeting will be composed by the following events:
• January, 24th – Model event – Vale Lobo E (Castelo de Vide);
• January, 25th – Middle distance – Vale Lobo W & herdade da Chainça;
• January, 25th – Sprint WRE candidate – Alegrete, Portalegre;
• January, 26th – Middle distance WRE candidate – Joucel & Ribeira S.João ( Castelo de Vide);
The winner of NAOM 2019 will be found through the sum of the points of the thre races.
